Run, Mama, Run!

I've had several challenges with getting back into the running scene again. I have overcome them all, so I'll name them now: moving across country with my hubby, 7 kids and 2 cats zapped my energy. Second, getting used to a higher altitude. Third, pregnancy- which isn't a trial for women who were runners before pregnancy. So, really the third isn't a challenge. :)

Anyway, I went on a two mile run with my family today. I felt so wonderful afterward! Being 5 months pregnant I felt a little pressure on the bladder at first, but once I got going, the pressure went away.

Saturday:

Run: Miles-2, Calories-200 Minutes-25

I cant stand running! Actually, I'm starting to like it. I never even liked exercising at all, but I have learned to love it and also to eat right.

Still, when I do a lot of heavy impact exercises I get shin splints.
