Need A Walking Buddy?

One of the BEST ways to lose weight is to walk it off. But if you're like me, you don't like to walk alone. After my daughter was born (almost 5 years ago) I told my husband that we were going to get a dog (which he'd been begging me for since the day we got married) before we had any more children, so that I would always have someone to walk with me. Now I have 2 walkin' buddies, and they are ALWAYS ready to go when I am. Dogs bring good emotional and mental health to their owners, and when walked every day they help with our physical health too! And, (as a dog trainer I cannot stress this enough) dogs need to be walked EVERY DAY. I do 2 miles a day with my dogs. We all benefit from this exercise. If you have the time to walk every day, but not the motivation, go to your local shelter and adopt a Walkin' Buddy of your very own! you dont have to be skinny to be "hot". Just confident, and preferably physically fit. lol
